Why it made the list
I look at how a thing is put together before anything else, and GK's calls held up to that. The engraving is cut clean, and the finish is smooth all the way around. GK is a family-owned company in Troy, Michigan, and every call is tuned and tested by hand before it leaves their shop. I haven't hunted ducks or geese yet, so I won't tell you how to run one. The people who can are the ones who compete with them. Wade Walling won the 2008 World Goose Calling Championship running a GK call. When I do get out there, I'd be glad to have one of these on my lanyard. GK backs every call with a limited lifetime warranty.
