Why it made the collection
The same hunting shape as the R100, in Roselli's ultra-high-carbon steel. It's much harder and holds an edge a long time. The trade-off is that it takes more patience to sharpen, but Roselli has a good how-to video, and they'll sharpen it for free if it ever needs it. If you want the best version of the knife that started all this for me, this is it.

Carbon steel care

Wipe it dry after use and give the blade a thin coat of oil now and then. Carbon steel darkens with use. That gray patina is normal, and it helps protect the blade.
