Why it made the list
What drew me to this one is that it comes complete: a bow hook, two gear hooks and the line to hang them, all in one. No tools needed. It rides in your pocket or pack, so you can hang your bow, your pack or anything else wherever you end up sitting. Leave it up or take it with you. It's just a convenient way to add hooks to your setup.

What it's for
The Wayward Wire is a complete pocket bow hanger: one bow hook, two gear hooks, a quick hitch and seven feet of line, all at 3.7 ounces and flat enough for a pants pocket. Wrap the tree, pull the line tight with the hitch, and hang your bow, crossbow or rifle with your gear beside it. There's no metal-on-metal contact to make noise. Made in the USA by Wayward Ridge, with a lifetime transferable warranty.
