Why it made the list
To me this is the jack of all trades of the bunch. It's shorter than the Hunting Knife, with the same grooved handle, and small enough to carry on your belt without hanging up on brush. If I wanted one knife on me for whatever comes up, this might be the one.

Owning it

Looking after it

Wipe it dry after use and give the blade a thin coat of oil now and then. Carbon steel darkens with use. That gray patina is normal, and it helps protect the blade.

Warranty and terms

Roselli covers every new knife and axe for life against defects in materials and workmanship. They don't cover normal wear, misuse or lack of care, or small chips in their UHC steel from twisting or hitting something hard. A claim goes to Roselli with a short description and clear photos.

Parts and service

Roselli will sharpen their knives and axes for free, for life, at their factory in Finland. You pay the shipping there and back. They also replace handles and repair sheaths there, for a fee. Ask me and I'll point you to it.
