Why it made the list
Very well made. It feels like the same care went into it as their knives. The handle is fantastic: solid and well shaped, with a good feel and great balance. And it came sharp. There's a groove that lets you hold it right behind the cutting edge, and I like the control that gives. I'd hold it there for kindling and small firewood, and down at the end of the handle for bigger pieces.

Owning it

Looking after it

Wipe it dry after use and give the blade a thin coat of oil now and then. Carbon steel darkens with use. That gray patina is normal, and it helps protect the blade.

Warranty and terms

Roselli covers every new knife and axe for life against defects in materials and workmanship. They don't cover normal wear, misuse or lack of care, or small chips in their UHC steel from twisting or hitting something hard. A claim goes to Roselli with a short description and clear photos.
